(Read: <a href=\"https:\/\/explore.techenutia.com\/2021\/11\/11\/2941\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro<\/a>.) With all the right reasons, of course. Their mid-range phones were so popular, in fact, the rumors of a new version have already surfaced. These are just leaked rumours, but it has many people excited already.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new version is apparently named <strong>Google Pixel 6a<\/strong>. The new phone might be launched in early or mid-2022. It\u2019s part of the Pixel-series Google has begun, and there are exactly two things to know. <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2021\/11\/23\/google-pixel-6a-specs-tensor-camera-downgrade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">9to5Google<\/a> claims to know these first specs and have shared it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pixel-series phones have been hit-or-miss overall until recently. In 2019, Google released Pixel 3a which had their flagship camera. Later, Pixel 4a had the same camera, and Google Assistant\u2019s accessibility increased. With each addition, Google has tried to better their products. It\u2019s only Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro that have come anywhere near to being <em>actually<\/em> good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Good<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Google didn\u2019t hold back on their latest Pixel-series phones. With the mid-range phones, Google went above and beyond and created their own chipset. This chipset is said to have advanced capabilities, and many believe it lives up to the expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Google Tensor GS101 might be exactly in Pixel 6a<\/strong>. With such standards, it\u2019s exciting to know that alleged Google Pixel 6a will contain the same one. The tensor chipset was the selling point of the new phones, and it will stay for the rumored one as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"has-large-font-size wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Bad<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Leaks on the chipset is exciting, but the later part might disappoint you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to 9to5Google, the <strong>sensors and the cameras in this phone aren\u2019t great<\/strong>. For context, it\u2019s apparently the camera setup they\u2019ve used from Pixel 3a to 5a. (The phones with subpar performances in camera category.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro had physically larger and better sensors. They had <strong>Samsung GN1<\/strong>. But the rumors claim it\u2019s demoted to <strong>Sony IMX363<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not only has this changed, but the camera megapixels have too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The primary is supposedly<strong> 12.2MP<\/strong>, and the ultrawide is only 12MP. There are only two rear facing cameras. And the front facing camera is 8MP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Needless to say, these are only rumors, and they should be treated as such. We don\u2019t have anything solid on Google\u2019s possible new mid-range phone.
