Yes, you read that right. It\u2019s suspected to launch in 2022, according to a report by Insider. This isn\u2019t Google\u2019s first try at hardware. They have several smartphones under the Pixel line<\/a>. Other accessories like wireless headphones are part of Google products too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n However, it\u2019s not the first time rumors of Google smartwatch have begun<\/strong>. They\u2019ve had so many of them, in fact, it\u2019s laughable at this point. Google has tried to make an in-house smartwatch several times. Let’s see what this in-house smartwatch might be:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The smartwatch \u2014 \u201cRohan\u201d \u2014 is being worked on by Google\u2019s Pixel hardware group. It\u2019s separate from Fitbit<\/strong>, which Google bought earlier this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There\u2019s a 50\/50 chance the watch will be called \u201cPixel Watch.\u201d Nevertheless, the watch might be a testimony of Google\u2019s capabilities. It will prove, once again, that with proper hardware, Google\u2019s software will exceed expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Google smartwatch is expected to cost more then Fitbit<\/strong>. It will also compete directly with Apple Watch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It will include\u00a0 the basic fitness tracking features<\/strong>, with step counting and heart rate monitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Google intends to show off the Wear OS with the smartwatch. It will essentially work like a Pixel phone. But, there\u2019s a Wear OS-powered Fitbit on it\u2019s way as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n There seems to be a lot in the works for Google<\/strong>. The Wear OS Fitbit, a smartwatch, and<\/em> they\u2019re in the middle of reinvention of Wear OS 3<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Wear OS 3 developed as a partnership with Samsung, merging the platform into Google\u2019s own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So far, only Samsung\u2019s Galaxy Watch 4 includes Wear OS 3, but it\u2019s heavily customized.
