Ever since iOS 14 rolled out more companies being caught for Spying
Apple announced iOS 14 with its marvelous features the previous month. But just when the beta rolled out TikTok was identified as a Spy. A few days later Reddit and LinkedIn apps were also found Copying clipboard content. iOS 14 comes with a new privacy-focused feature that notifies you whenever an app tries to read your clipboard.
Soon the Warnings appeared on twitter in the form of tweets by users. One of Reddit Spokesperson wrote in an email to The Verge, “We tracked this down to a code path in the post composer that checks for URLs in the pasteboard and then suggests a post title based on the text contents of the URL”.
UPDATE: Seems like Reddit is capturing the clipboard on each keystroke as well 😕
