T-Mobile will force its users to upgrade to 4G Volte

4G VOLTE service is the new standard of Calling. But still, some users use 2G and 3G devices. T-Mobile is quite a big telecom company but they are done maintaining 2G and 3G services. Now every telecom company wants to establish 5G and make 4G their standard. Hence, T-Mobile will be forcing its users to upgrade to 4G otherwise the services will be discontinued.

T-Mobile will soon discontinue its 2G and 3G services. Devices that do not support 4G will not be able to access the Internet, Calls, or text services by T-Mobile. Budget 4G devices have been for more than 3 years in the smartphone market. Very few people still rely on 2G and 3G devices for their daily communication needs.

These new guidelines will be effective immediately starting from January 2021. The problem is most phones that support Volte are not compatible with T-Mobile’s Volte implementation. This will cause some serious headaches for customers. Buying new devices in this pandemic situation is not the ideal decision. Maybe T-Mobile will offer a discount. Let’s hope for the best. Thanks for reading. Stay Safe! Stay Humble!.
