A few months ago, there were rumors regarding Samsung Galaxy S22 series. Those rumors claimed that the new S22 series would contain three kinds of phones: Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Now, we know a little more about the third flagship of the series.
There’s a possibility of renaming the phone. FrontTron, a tipster on Twitter, claims it’ll be “Samsung Galaxy S22 Note” instead.
This Galaxy S22 Ultra/Note might come with a convenient slot for S Pen. The lack of S Pen slot was a problem for S21 Ultra and Z Fold 3, and Samsung seems to have listened to their customers.
The chipset of this flagship will either be: Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200. The phone could arrive with a 5,000mAh battery, a 108MP main camera, 2 telephoto cameras, and one 12MP ultra-wide camera.
Previous Rumours/Leaks
Many tipsters are claiming various things, and there is little they all agree upon.
Another tipster on Twitter claims to have the information on the storage and color variants of Galaxy S22 Ultra. The leak claims to have three colors: Dark red, Black, and White. (Galaxy S22 and S22 Plus could have 4 colors instead.)
And the storage variants include 12GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, the second variant: 12GB/256GB, and the final one: 16GB/512GB. (
Besides this, the quad-lens camera is adjusted differently on the phone. Its module is redesigned in a “P” shape. However, like mentioned earlier, not everyone seems to agree upon the leaks. FrontPageTech posted various pictures of allegedly first real-life photos of Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Here, the cameras are not in like the previous claim.
The phone is allegedly 6.8inches long. Like all other Samsung phones, it might have water and dust resistance of IP68.
Usually, with some rumors, people are able to predict the price ranges of the flagships. However, previously Samsung surprised everyone by dropping the prices for their Galaxy S line. Besides, if the S22 series is too expensive, some customers can fall back to Galaxy A series’ possible new addition: Samsung Galaxy A73.
