Huawei is dying.

The beginning of the end is here. Huawei one of the world’s biggest and most influential smartphone manufacturers might soon be dead. Back in May 2019 US government banned Huawei’s business in the US. A new sanction stopped US companies and their affiliates from working with Huawei. May 2019 marked the beginning of the end for Huawei. But still, there was hope. Now another US sanction will kill Huawei’s Smartphone business completely.

The new US sanction stopped Huawei from making its Kirin Chipsets. How? The Company that used to produce chips for Huawei uses US software and other tools. All the Companies who are part of the US or use US technology are banned from working with Huawei. The Huawei P40 lineup won’t be affected, however. P40 Smartphone lineup could be the last Huawei Smartphone with Kirin Chipset.

Huawei continuously denied the accusations that the Trump administration makes. But this time the US-China trade war led to the destruction of one of the best smartphone manufacturers. Kirin chips are easily one of the top-notch Chipsets. Kirin even defeats Qualcomm in some standards. But does this mean the end of Huawei? Huawei is a big Company and Smartphone business is part of it.

Huawei won’t be able to manufacture its own chipsets. Also, it won’t be able to use Qualcomm but Huawei isn’t going to end without a fight. Huawei invested huge money in its App Gallery and Huawei mobile services, a replacement to google. Be ready for the Huawei smartphones powered by Mediatek Chipsets. Mediatek is also one of the leading chipset manufacturers. Especially, gaming chipsets in budget smartphones.
