Samsung has a series of affordable smartphones. They’re the Samsung Galaxy A-series phones, and their price ranges from INR 8,000 to INR 11,000. The highest so far has been only INR 12,000.
This series’ new addition was recently launched. It’s a follow up to Galaxy A02.
Samsung Galaxy A03 and A03 Core was revealed on 25th of November. This happened through a simple infographic for A03, but A03 Core did not get that. Information on both the smartphones is available on Samsung’s website.
So far, we have little details regarding the specs. Let’s take a look at that:
First Specs
The Galaxy A03 has a 6.5inch display, with HD+Infinity-V display. It has a 60Hz refresh rate, and comes in three colours: red, blue, and black. The batteries have an estimated 5,000mAh capacity, there is a octa-core 1.6GHz chipset. These features are common in both the versions.
The new smartphone has two rear facing cameras. One is 48MP, and the other has 2MP depth sensor. The depth sensor helps bring the focus to the subjects, instead of in ultrawide or zoomed in perspective. The RAM storage options are 3GB or 4GB. The internal storage options are 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB.
A03 Core, which is thought of as the “stripped-down” version of A03. There’s a single camera on the rear face, which is a 8MP camera. The RAM storage is only 2GB and internal storage is 32GB.
What To Look Forward To
Considering the affordable prices of this series, the estimated price is INR 9,990. Now we need to wait for Samsung to release information regarding the chipset provider. The version of Android isn’t provided yet either. Indian market is yet to receive this phone.
If Samsung’s improving quality is anything to go by, this might be a great deal for a smartphone.
