Realme X3: A real deal

Realme X3 is all the big hype in India. This is another mid-range offering by Realme. The two main focuses of this device are Camera and Performance. More companies recently started launching new and improved devices in the mid-range. The so-called flagship killers offer a flagship-level experience for half or one third the price of an original flagship. The Realme X3 aims to be a flagship killer and will compete with OnePlus Z or Nord.

Performance & Battery

You guessed it 4300mah battery with 30W fast charging. Now let’s come to the performance. Realme X3 features Snapdragon 855+ the previous generation flagship processor by the Company. UFS 3.0 with up to 1.5TB/s read and write speed (that’s what they claim). Snapdragon 855+ will outperform all the processors in the mid-range whether it is SD 765 or 768G. With 12GB of RAM, you don’t have to worry about multitasking.

256GB of internal storage is enough to enjoy any mobile game on the planet. 120Hz display gives you a better gaming experience and you will love this if you are a pro gamer. All that combined with Realme Cooling tech to keep the device cool while gaming. If you ask for a Performance Verdict “Unmatched Performance”.

Camera

The Big thing is the Camera. Realme X3 supports up to 60X zoom. But that’s a digital zoom. if we talk about optical zoom that is 5x. All this is achieved by a Periscope lens. Something similar to Samsung Galaxy S20. The device also supports OIS so, no problem with beautiful video captures. The OIS is also intelligently used with the zoomed-in photos to make them steady clear shots.

The 64MP primary camera clicks some really good quality pictures and the extra zoom with periscope gives a little edge. 4cm Macro for macro photographers. Though the macro photos are not pro-grade. You have a 119deg ultrawide(8MP). The nightscape mode for Realme has been seen and appreciated in previous smartphones. But this time it is more improved and supports zoom.

The nightscape also gives you better photography at night. Comparable to flagships. The device also supports ultra image stabilization for Vloggers. Slow-motion and other stuff come preloaded. The front is a dual-camera setup. One Camera is 32MP selfie and the other is ultrawide(8MP).No 4K on front. The Smartphone costs around 25K INR in India and is available on Flipkart.

Verdict

These two are the main highlights of this device and other than that all the specs are similar to other devices in the price range. Like new Bluetooth and wifi hardware. The big question is it worth your attention? Yes, it is. The device is powerful in both performance and camera departments.
