Samsung Galaxy Note 20: Low-Class High Price

Note series smartphones are the devices with larger displays and the S pen. This year’s note series take the leap to a 6.9inch screen size. The Price for the Note 20 Ultra starts at 1399$. But most of the hardware inside of Note 20 is from S20. Before comparing Note 20 with Note 10 let’s first see what is new in the new Note 20.

Performance

Both Note 20 and Note 20 ultra comes with snapdragon 865 plus chipset. 865+ is an upgrade to 865. For Note 20 8GB/128GB is available and Note 20 ultra takes the edge with 12GB/512GB storage. 8GB Ram paired with Snapdragon 865 plus is more than enough for modern android users. Both devices are capable of handling heavy tasks every day. Note 20 comes with a 4300maH battery with 25W fast charging 15W wireless charging. On the other hand Note, 20 ultra comes with a 4500maH battery and the same charging capacity.

Aesthetics

Note series never compromise on Aesthetics. Note 20 Ultra with a waterfall-like display design stands out. Gorilla Glass 5 protects the Note 20 whereas Gorilla Glass 7 Protects the Note 20 ultra. 6.7 & 6.9 inch AMOLED O-infinity display on Note 20 & Note 20 ultra respectively. Note 20 back panel is built with glastic as they call it, while Note 20 ultra is purely metal and glass. The Note 20 resolution max out at FHD+ whereas Note 20 ultra max out at WQHD+.

Camera

Both devices offer similar Camera specs. Note 20 Ultra copies the same camera from S20 Ultra 108MP main sensor with 12MP telephoto(5x optical zoom), 12MP ultrawide. On the other hand Note, 20 features a 12MP wide-angle 64MP telephoto 12MP ultra-wide. The Selfie Camera is the same 10MP on both the devices. Both devices support 8K @ 24fps.

Extras

The in-display fingerprint sensor adds some butter to the bread. IP 68 certified good for swimmers. 208g good for lightweight lovers. The S Pen has improved with better handwriting experience. More gestures. Now it can feel even more levels of pressure and more.

Verdict

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series is not for price-conscious people. But still, you should spend your money carefully. Note 20 is overall a better choice here as it offers various similarities in multiple departments. However, Compared to other flagships that you might even get at a discount price likes Huawei Mate, Samsung’s mate series fail to deliver. The Price is going up but the game is the same.
