Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Leak: A launch Date?

In third quarter of 2021, Samsung faced a global chip shortage. Because of this, a particular product didn’t make it to the market.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE should’ve debuted in 2021, but it’s happening in the coming year. Samsung, clearly, has decided better late than never.

There have been several rumours about this in the third quarter.

A long-time leaker Evan Bass (evleaks) posted a tweet with the phone’s renders on it. The tweet includes four of the renders (one repeated) as shown below.

In the tweet, Evan Bass includes a date: January 11th. Jon Prosser backs up this claim as well.

Previous version of this phone, Galaxy S20 FE doesn’t perform as well as other phones they’ve released this year. Hopefully, Samsung won’t keep it up.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE may have Exynos 2100 or Sanpdragon 8 Gen 1. A 4,500 mAh battery, and triple camera setup. Along with this, there’s 120Hz FDH+ OLED display panel. The storage variants is hinted to be: 6 to 8GB of RAM, and 125GB to 256GB of internal storage. There’s little to no big upgrades with software in sight, compared to Galaxy S20 FE.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, if released in Januuary, will pose a direct competition to OnePlus 10 Pro. OnePlus’ official Weibo page confirms the launch in the same month.
