Microsoft teams is one of the best video conferencing app out there especially for windows users. Microsoft teams is an all in one app for online office meetings. The app can let up to 10000 users connect remotely. However, it is not the best free video conferencing app. Zoom once loved by everyone around the world. Due to security reasons, Zoom lost its shine and others started to gain attention. Now Microsoft is all set to break Zoom’s records.
Zoom is easy to use and the free version has a lot of features like up to 100 members group video conferencing. Zoom set a record of 300million per day active users during this pandemic. This is the highest feat reached by any video conferencing app. But Microsoft saw a spike in its daily active users and has reported close to 200million active users in a single day.
Zoom, however, may have faked its no of daily active users. As it once reported that over 300million people around the world are using the zoom app. It is next to impossible that all zoom users used the app on the same day. But Microsoft teams app is seeing extraordinary growth in its user base. Microsoft also noted that two-third of users also used integrated files inside the app.
Microsoft teams also come as part of office 365 and Microsoft is expecting an increase in its office 365 users using Microsoft teams app. 258million user base is huge but only 30% of it uses Microsoft Teams.
