Samsung Galaxy S20 is literally one of the best Flagship series of 2020. But S20 flagships don’t fit everyone’s pockets. Samsung took note of that and launched a cheaper variant of the S20 series the S20FE or S20 Fan Edition. With the launch of the iPhone 12, the Competition becomes more interesting. But Let’s first talk about what S20FE packs under the hood.
Design
S20 FE design is not extraordinary. In fact, it is a pretty basic mid-range design. You get powerful Color Options to suit your style. The Display as in all Samsung devices is stunning. 6.5″ Full HD+ Infinity O Display with bare minimum bezels. It is a Super AMOLED panel 20:9 Aspect Ratio. But it is not curved like in S20. Polished plastic makes the glass more durable than glass. You will love the matte finish plastic look on the back more than shiny glass. The frame, however, is still metal built and therefore durable.
Performance
Exynos 990 a 5G processor by Samsung. Exynos 990 is equivalent to Snapdragon 865. You also get access to hyperfast 5G network (Depending on your region). The device also features 120Hz display for a faster and smoother experience. 4500mAH battery to keep you charged all day. 6+/8+ GB of RAM depending on region. 128GB internal and expandable upto 1TB. With this device in hand you will never have to worry about performance.
Not only that the device is protected by IP68 so, feel free to dip it into some water. Also features 25W fast charging to get you going from 0 to 50% in 30min. Wireless PowerShare, Fast Wireless Charging, Samsung Dex, and many other features inherited from the flagship S20.
Camera
Samsung gives you a triple camera setup to capture the most important moments of your life. A 12MP Wide Camera, 12MP Ultra Wide, and 8MP telephoto. It is a 12MP yet it can zoom up to 30X space Zoom and 3X Optical Zoom. The Camera is as stunning as the Flagship S20 itself. Night Shots are highly detailed and no washed-out colors. Single Take, A feature that takes multiple photos and videos in 15 seconds is built in.
32MP Front Camera for high-quality selfies. No 8K videos. But it will still be able to click some stunning photos and capture incredible videos both in daylight and night.
Verdict
is Samsung Galaxy S20FE worth it? Yes, It is. It offers incredible value for money. But if you are not an android fan and can consider buying iPhone then I would recommend you to read this article here. As both are priced at 699$ the Competition is stiff.
