Apple recently unveiled the mighty iPhone 12 series. The new lineup by Apple is cheaper and expensive at the same time. It gives you more options, you can call it just an incremental upgrade to iPhone 11 series. Apple is keeping all the innovative products for the future like AR, Distributed Computing, and much more.
iPhone 12 and 12 Pro both look very similar from the outside apart from the Camera module. iFixit showed in a teardown Livestream that both the devices are exactly the same. Both iPhones have a 6.1 inch Super Retina HDR display and therefore there body is exactly similar. They are so identical that in the camera module where iPhone 12 Pro has extra Cameras and LiDar sensor the 12 has a plastic spacer.
Even the logic board is similar apart from serial numbers difference. Same FaceID, flash modules, and lightning connector. However, Another important point is in the batteries. As mentioned earlier iPhone 12 series batteries are smaller compared to the iPhone 11 series. iFixit confirmed that iPhone 12 and 12 Pro feature a 2815mah battery.
Apple believes A14 can help get extra battery life with the smaller battery but the 12 series lasts only 9-10 hrs on a busy day. iFixit also gave a repair score of 6 out of 10 to iPhone 12 which means it is difficult to repair them.
